Dr. Bretz is thrilled to be a part of the excellent team at Covin Periodontics. She recently returned to the Twin Cities from St. Louis where she has been practicing periodontology and implant dentistry for three years. Dr. Bretz graduated cum laude from the University of Southern Illinois Dental School and completed her three year residency in periodontology at the University of Minnesota in 2005 with advanced clinical training in implant surgery, periodontal plastic surgery, bone grafting, and the treatment of severe periodontal disease. Dedicated to patient care, she has volunteered with Give Kids a Smile and traveled to Jamaica to participate on a missions trip.

Dr. Bretz enjoys spending her free time with her husband Jason and two children.
